Itinerary Advice - 6 days, Normandy & Provence

We (2 adults in our 50's) are travelling to France the 1st 2 weeks of August. We are spending 3 days in Paris, then going to Loire Valley for 5 day cycling trip. We then have 6 days to spend before heading back to Paris for flight home. We're thinking we would like to visit Normandy for maybe 2 days (we're Canadian & would like to visit the Juno Beach memorial) and then on to Provence area for the remaining time. Any suggestions on itineraries, must sees, timelines?

With only 6 days I would advise you to stick to one region. Normandy and Provence are in opposite ends of the country and getting from one to the other would take a whole day. Both regions has enough to keep you occupied for more than 6 days.

Hi
I am a fellow Canadian who has cycled extensively in France and recommend that you rent a car after your Loire tour and spend your six days visiting Normandy. You would spend the better part of a day going to Provence and a day back to CDG airport. The back roads of Normandy are wonderful for wandering around and the cider and cheese are great.
There is tons to keep you busy, Fougere, Saint Malo, Mont St Michel. Bayeux tapestry, landing beaches and harbour, WWII museums ( make sure to see the Canadian graveyard, just inland from Juno Beach and US Cemetary - both are very moving ), Honfleur, Giverny, and back to CDG. The trip would be difficult without a car.
