Will visit the new Vuitton museum next and would like to see the restored home of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor which sits in the same park. Is it open to visitors? It was restored by Al Fayed - saw an article which said it was incredible.
Have you tried Google? Be sure to spell it... Bois de Boulogne.
Edit: I Googled it and couldn't find anything about it being open to the public unfortunately. I'd love to see it too. I did find amazing photos of the interior though.
You can see the City of Paris map of the Bois here in pdf format, it's interesting to note that they do not even show the Villa on that map. The pdf link is on the left near the top.

As for the Vuitton, there is also a related Frank Gehry exhibition at the Pompidou, running into January 2015:

Yes, I tried googling it and saw the interior photos. I wonder if Mr. Al Fayed still owns it - or leases it - and it is therefore not public space. Wow. I would love to see it. I do recall the Duke and Duchess' farm house is now a rental - outside Paris though.
Marie, that's so interesting, i didn't know they also had a farm house. Do you know where? My dad belonged to a golf course in St. Nom la Breteche,, right outside Paris, and he occasionally saw the Duke playing golf (and met and spoke with him)... I wonder if if was there. Makes sense.
I'd love to know where their villa is in the Bois de Boulogne and at least see it from the outside.
4 Route du Champ d'Entrainement on the far north end of the Bois de Boulogne parallel to the Boulevard Richard Wallace.
Thank you Sam!
