Hello, We are visiting the riviera for 4 days in October. Based in Villefranche sur mer. I was wondering if the 24 or 48 hour French Riviera pass is worth the money?? We plan to visit the villas in Cap Ferrat, Eze and its gardens, La Turbie and Monaco ( Oceanographic museum and gardens) during our stay. Please let me know your opinion of the same.

You would need to look at the individual ticket prices for what you want to do and then compare it to the price of the pass. Sometimes these passes can be worth it if you plan to see quite a few things but often they're not worth it if there are only a few places on your list that match what is covered in the pass.
Anita is right. It really just comes down to doing the math. A 72 hour pass costs about 56 euros. If the sites you want to see are less than the cost of the pass, then I wouldn't get it. They have a table of site prices on their website to compare:
