Is official ET ticket site hacked?

I have used two different browsers to try to book Eiffel tower tickets. The site initially says my date is sold out but I can then select tickets for adults and kids and be offered them for my date for about 3 times the usual price. Seems like a scam -- should not happen on official site, so suspect site is hacked. I'd be willing to pay but fear I'd end up with bogus tickets.

Wow, Janet. As you're one of the RS forum gurus when it comes to Paris, no question you're on the right site. Let us know what you find out?

What dates are you looking at? When you get to the purchase page has the URL changed from the official site? If the tickets are shown as sold out you should not be able to click through to purchase. Maybe try with a mobile phone to see if you get the same result.

I am sure that Janet is on the official site, so I took a look. Summit tickets are 36.70€ each. I do not remember their being that expensive. Prices have increased at probably all monuments for those visiting from outside the EU, but it looked like the 37.60€ was for everyone.

The other prices are for glasses of Champagne or visiting with a guide. Has anyone seen basic prices other than 36.70€ for the summit?

The ticket prices are listed at the official website.

Per that price list, a ticket to the top costs €36,70 for an adult. This is also the price that’s charged when I try to make a booking for various dates in May and June. I didn’t go as far as to actually make the payment, but nowhere in the process does the price gets tripled,
