Is it worth going to Gorges du Verdon or Cassis while staying in Aix?

We are flying into Marseilles in June 2024. Staying in Aix for 3 days before a stay in Roussillon then Uzes.
Is it worth a trip to the Gorges du Verdon?
Same for Cassis to view the Calanques?
We are staying in Marsailles the night before our return flight. Should we save the Calanques for the day before we return to the US?

Thanks for your advice,
Dan and Lynn

In th second half of June, it is definitely worth it, because you can see the lavender fields around Valensole on the way! And who knows, with a warm spring even 10th June would be early enough for some flowering.

This would be my suggested route - there is a loop road near La Palud sur Verdon, "route des Crêtes", which gives a great overview of the Verdon gorge in not much time.

Earlier in June, I would probably prioritize the Calanques. 1 night in Marseille at the end won't be as easy for the Calanques, but still doable.
