Recent flyers into CDG - Is it paper or kiosk to enter EU in CDG?

I have a group of 11 going to Palermo September 10. We are flying STL to MSP to CDG to FCO to PMO. Therefore we must enter the EU in Paris at Charles De Gaulle airport. This will be in one month. Has anyone entered here recently? Were you handing in paper immigration/custom forms received on the flight or filling them out electronically at the kiosks once inside the airport? How quickly were you able to make it through the line? We have 1 hour and 45 minutes to connect. Thanks for any RECENT experience.

Assuming all have US passports, there are no forms to fill out, only a passport stamp at entry. You should have enough time, however times vary and a definite answer is hard to give. Airline? Terminal? Gate? Baggage?

You might want to check on passport validity if you haven't already. Schengen rules, . . passport must be valid for 3 months after date of DEPARTURE (from Schengen zone)

All on one ticket from MSP to PMO? Just get in line to have passport inspected. No extra papers assuming everyone is a US citizen.

No papers / no forms for US passport holders at least. Nothing handed out on the flight either . All you do is wait online.

If US citizen cannot use the Kiosks ; have to wait online for the person in the booth. They usually don't say a word and just stamp your passport after scanning it in and looking you up.

If they are not busy they might ask where you are staying or how long you are staying type chit chat.

Cannot recall exact timing ; maybe was a 30 min wait on a recent trip. Then had to go to the baggage area which was quite far and wait again for the bags.
Did I mention our flight left Boston 2 hours late and then again delayed landing at CDG so the 30 min went by fast.

If you are on the same ticket you won't have to get your bags and will have enough time as long as your plane into CDG is on time.
Not on the same ticket your next flight and that is not enough time in between.

Unlike entering the U.S. or the U.K., there is no form to complete when entering France. You simply hand your passport to the immigration officer and if they happen to ask you any questions, you answer them.

Make sure you know the terminal that your flight to FCO departs from. Also, it used to be that there was a separate area in PMO where they placed luggage from outside of the EU. I don’t know if this is still true. If you don’t see your luggage on the carousel at PMO, look for this area.

It is too bad you have such convoluted routing. That is a long trip.
