I'm planning on going to Paris and Avignon in June. Is it easy to go to Lourdes from Avignon (or Paris)? If it's possible, would you recommend it before going to Avignon or after? I Googled it (how to get to Lourdes) but it doesn't look easy. I'd appreciate your advice.

It's not difficult; just time consuming. By train, it's roughly the same amount of time. But while there are some direct trains from Paris, you would need to make a couple of train changes if coming from Avignon. By car, it's well over 8 hours from Paris; 6 hrs from Avignon.
