Is English language spoken at wineries on Alsace Route de Vin

I was wondering if winery staff at the wineries on the Alsace Route de Vin speak English as well as French. Our French is very limited so I'm hoping that won't be a significant problem while visiting the wineries.

The staff is multilingual and speaks English at the Cave de Ribeauville— the oldest wine co-operative where you can taste the wines of many vintners all under one roof.

I can't speak for all wineries, but the ones I visited in 2022 were no problem. You could always use an app like Google Translate or similar if needed.

Enjoy your trip.

We found that at the hotels, wineries and sites (like the castle), English was widely spoken. In terms of folks off the street or in shops, we felt fewer folks spoke English, typically spoke French and/or German. We never had a problem communicating, people were kind and wanted to be helpful.
