We are traveling from Colmar to Dijon by car in late May. We can drive straight through or stop if there are any worthy sights between. We will be visiting many wineries near both towns during our stays. Are they any point of interest (not churches or museums), can't-miss-restaurants, or awesome wineries in this area between the two towns?
See if the view or specialized museums at the Besancon citadel interest you. I guess if you don't care for museums, you wouldn't want to see the location of Gustave Courbet's painting, "La Source de la Loue."
Besancon and Dole are 2 modest sized cities along the route that are worth seeing. Lods and Ornans are 2 interesting villages that are just a little off the route. Here's my travel blog entry for the drive that included those 2 villages. There are entries that cover Besancon and Dole elsewhere.

If you haven't visited any small towns on the wine road, Eguisheim is on the way just outside Colmar.
There is a citadel in Besancon. I skipped it because it's 17th century and too new for my taste.
