Does anyone know if/where I can find instant ice packs in Paris? Not the gel ones that need to go in the freezer but the ones that you pop to get cold and only last a little bit. I need them for an ongoing injury but I won’t have access to a freezer and I’m hoping to avoid packing them in my luggage.
I would guess a pharmacy would carry those
I've never bought one, but if you stop by a pharmacie and ask for un pack de froid or un pack de froid instantané, you'll probably be set. Expect to pay about a euro per pack.
I always travel with a few extra large and small ziploc bags, one for a potential ice pack (advice from a PT). You can always get ice at your hotel. Also if applicable to your situation, I love the Salonpas capsicum patches. Easy to pack and effective. Good luck!
