My sister, her daughter and I will be in Nice briefly (about 2 1/2 days) in mid November as a surprise to celebrate my niece's 21st birthday. Given the weather constraints, any suggestions for things to do, must sees or advice in general? Any ideas for a nice (but not too crazy expensive) place for her birthday dinner? It's been almost 30 years since I was last there, so I haven't a clue, but I'm really looking forward to returning, even in the middle of winter!

For dinner, take a look at Indyana on rue Deloye.
For a group, if you happen to be over in Antibes,
the RS recommended Safranier is a great choice.
If you like museums, then the Massena museum, next to the Hotel Negresco,
is a hidden gem. Learn more about the formation of Italy than you thought you knew!
