Plan is to start in Auver sur Oise 4/9; day trip- Giverny;4/11 Train to Lorient and stay or go to Pont Aven...4/13 ?Train to Auray and stay...4/14 Wedding in Arradon; stay Auray/Vannes...stay in Vannes or Auray ; visit Nantes...4/17 Train to Vernon? or somehow get back to Auvers Sur Oise....4/18 Airport
Is this possible ? Any suggestions in Auray, Vannes?

What rail strike? I have a ticket to take the TGV Paris-Nice on April 5. I was not aware of a (possible) strike.
I don't know if its doable but if you make it to Nantes you MUST see the Les Machines de I'ile. You will not believe your eyes. It's Jules Verne, steam punk and the automated Machines ( I don't know what else to call them) are amazing!
I read about the rail strike here in the forum; there was a link with a calendar of strike days...seems to be affecting many travelers. You could look at www.sncf.com/france
