Returning to Haute des Cagnes outside of Nice in early September 2019 last stay was 2012. Thinking of a direct flight to Paris and then a train same day to Lyon as it is a transfer point to continue on to Nice. This trip to the South we would like to once again include different stops in our journey and Lyon would be one! Can anyone recommend a lovely quaint, atmospheric small hotel for a short two night stay? Since it will be for only two nights I would welcome recommendations as to the location which would make the most out of our brief stay-possibly not too far from the train station continuing on to Nice.
