I'm traveling from Aix-en-Provence to Paris on the morning Sept 5, which is during the Italian train strike scheduled for 9PM Sept 4 to 9PM Sept 5. This route (Frecciarossa 6146) is entirely within France (Marseille to Paris) but is operated by Trenitalia. Any idea whether the Italian train workers would strike on a route that runs only within France? i called Trenitalia customer service, and they weren't sure.

You’re in luck because you can still buy a SNCF ticket if your train is cancelled. Your TrenItalia ticket will be refunded. You really have little to be concerned about about.
I’m traveling on that day, too, from within Italy back to France but in an SNCF train.
But a good question now that trains are traveling inside other countries.
