If you could ask Mona Lisa one question, what would you ask?

“Are you glad they found you after your theft?”
“Si, those thieves were nasty guys. And although I’ve moved to a newer, bigger room, it doesn’t feel any bigger. Frankly, I’m thinking about moving out of the Louvre - it’s getting waaaay too crowded!”
If I could ask a second question, it’d be, “Did you enjoy sitting for Leonardo?”
I imagine she’d respond, “He was clearly a genius, and was mostly kind, except for one thing that still makes me mad. I have very bushy eyebrows, and I requested that he please paint them less so. Well, he didn’t paint me with any eyebrows, so when he asked me to smile for the painting, I just kind-of smirked.”
I'd say....Welcome to the forum John. Are you compiling the answers for an article/blog/ezine?
Leonardo painted her with eyebrows, they got erased over the centuries.
Qual è il tuo nome di battesimo?
I’d ask her, “What were you actually thinking about when Leonardo painted you?”
Why does everyone fixate on seeing your portrait when Leonardo painted other more beautiful paintings?

More than a few paintings have raised a few eyebrows. Add her to the list.
After further thought, I probably wouldn’t ask her a question, as I don’t really think she’d answer.
If I thought she actually did give me some answer, I’d have to start asking questions of myself!
