Ideas for Cheese and Apples near Bayeux/Caen Area

We'll be in Normandy in mid-December. Besides the D-Day invasion area we're seeking fromage-fromage-fromage and apples. Yes Calvados, and cider to be sure, but we want to sample the area's apples too. We love them apples! Got any ideas for amazing cheese makers and apple outlets? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

We didn't do much research and just drove somewhat aimlessly through the Pays d'Auge a few years ago. These sites, located with hindsight, might help you with a more focused itinerary:

(We enjoyed one of our favorite meals in France at Le Restaurant Au P'tit Normand in Cambremer. I think we were fortunate to be seated without a reservation. If interested, you might want to call ahead. https://www.auptitnormand.com/ )

Cheese- it's hard to find a town in a cheese producing area that doesn't have at least one fromagerie. As for apples- google Bayeux or Normandy market days. You should find a plethora of stalls selling local apples.

To clarify, I was thinking of cheese production facilities, rather than a formagerie/cheese store. Thanks
