Does anyone know approximately how long it takes to get from the Ibis CBG (near terminal three) to the UA check in which is evidently in Terminal 1? It looks pretty close on the terminal map. But I’m not sure if the tram runs two ways or only one way. Thanks in advance for your help.

Maybe 7 minutes, maybe less. Take the CDGVAL, of course it goes both ways.

I'd allocate 20 minutes for the entire trip. You will have to get to Terminal 3 and then assuming you just miss a shuttle, the next one will arrive in about 4 minutes and then allocate some time for figuring out where you are in Terminal 1 and getting to your counter.

The Ibis is located at Roissypôle which is the CDGVAL station. Terminal 3 is a short walk from Roissypôle, but if I wanted to take the CDGVAL anywhere, walking to terminal 3 would take me away from the CDGVAL.
From Roissypôle, terminal 1 is the second CDGVAL stop, the intermediate stop being a parking lot.
