I have a global pass, some trains sat “ subject to seat reservation “. How do I make a seat reservation with my pass ? Do I have to buy a whole new ticket?
I went to the DB site and tapped for seats only but it states I can not buy a seat !

if there is availability you get it from the company who sold it to you or in France from SNCF. Be prepared for the high cost. You need them on everything higher than a regional (TER) train in France, and they are rationed for global pass holders. Sorry you didn't check here first.

Which trains are you trying to reserve? For which dates?
Note that if you are the type of person that reserves train seats months in advance you should not have gotten a Eurail Pass in the first place. In France you can get Eurail Reservations at the station, or from the ticket machine. Or you get them using the Eurail App. The Eurail pass is for people who like to remain flexible, and who do not reserve far in advance.
