Humidity in south

Hi, we are going to be in the very south of France on the Canal du Rhone a Sete in July. I'm wondering how humid I can expect it to be. This question is really for the women I guess: I'm trying not to check baggage so I really need to edit my makeup/skincare bag. I'm trying to figure out if I'll need moisturizer vs. mattifier, whether my skin will be parched or greasy, etc. I lived in California(dry) and now live in Hawaii(humid), so I've seen that I need drastically different types of skincare depending on the weather. Any thoughts?

It will be warm, not certain of humidity that time of year. There are many stores to purchase what you might want. I would bring a few samples for the first day or so and buy what you need there once you see how the weather is during your stay.

I checked some weather averages for a few places in southern France and it looks like the humidity is mostly around the low to mid 70s% throughout most of the year. I'm sure if you hit a hot spell and especially if you're in an area with a lot of water it may be in the mid-80%. I would say it's definitely not going to be 'dry'.

We were in the south of France last July. It was HUMID! I was a soggy mess by the end of the day. My hair went from straight to curly by the end of the day and I gave up on makeup as it melted off my face. I needed to rinse out our shirts/blouses on a nightly basis as they were unwearable after one use (normally we can wear a shirt/blouse a few times before washing). We stayed in hotels with ac and some had pools which we enjoyed which made the humidity situation bearable.
