I am travelling to paris on may 4th. The strike days include the day i land but the other days in paris is without strike. I am in colmar on other days and hopefully wouldnt get affected too much cause of the strike.
Does anyone know what kind of disruptions i can expect in that time. Will attraction / sights get closed
too early to say. one would hope they would have settled it by then, but perhaps not. Your biggest problem will be transport on arrival. There will be cabs but lots of people wanting them so that may be a bigger wait. There will probably be some RER B trains to the city but not as many. Consider it an adventure.
We get there on a day currently jammed between two strike days; fingers crossed.
Do let us know how it was once your back😊
When we arrived at CDG on a strike day we took a bus (Air France bus, now Le Bus Direct) to Paris, which worked out well.

Since the rolling strikes start at the beginning of April you're asking about something that hasn't yet happened. Pay attention to how events unfold once the rolling strikes start.
I arrived at CDG on March 22. The RER B was running on a somewhat abbreviated schedule. It stopped at Gare du Nord.
I arrive on the 3rd and have looked into this as well.
While the RER B and some Metro lines may be affected, I believe Le Bus is a good option to get into Paris.
I just had a conversation with a local, and she told me that she never takes the RER B into Paris. She takes the Roissey Bus from CDG to Opera Metro stop. Although, I am guessing this bus may be affected to. Uber and Taxi are also options. I do not know if Eurostar will be affected.
Let's hope it will all go away before May.
We arrive on the 3rd also, but on the Thaly’s train from Amsterdam to Gare du Nord. Our hotel is near the Bastille. We will be going to the Loire Valley that weekend, and have tickets from Tours to London on Tuesday the 8th. Probably going to be hectic around the Bastille if there are protests, but that is democracy in action. I’m going to take it one day at a time and wait and see before I make any changes to our itinerary.
