How toUsing combo ticket for Orangerie and Orsay

Help.. advice needed on using combo
Tickets with timed entries and planning visits to Marmotten and Orsay.

I know there are many ways to approach a day , but I am getting confused.

Question 1:
if I get a combo ticket with the Orangerie or the Rodin do I book a timed entry at let’s say the Orangerie , but how do I pay for combo ticket and then how do I book a combo ticket timed entry for the Orsay.

Question 2 :
Someone advised
Me to take advantage of the Orsay staying open late on Thursday . So I was thinking of visiting the Orsay on Thursday evening .
Another person has said to prioritize the Orsay.

Now wondering if we should visit Orsay in the morning and do our walking tours in the afternoon.

Advice please?

Question 3:
I have been told Montmarte is very crowded and better to visit it in the morning. I Was thinking to do that early and then go to Marmotten, but someone has suggested doing Marmotten in morning.

Any advice?

I just read the info. .
Am I reading it correctly that my husband and I would not need to purchase a timed entry. We would just bring our combo ticket gotten at the Rodin to the Orsay the next day and we would be admitted after going through security?

Also, since the gardens are open beyond the museum time , is there someone at the museum after 6:00 pm. that you can buy a combo ticket and view the garden?

It certainly sounds that way but if no one here has personal experience with that ticket (I don't) you could contact the Orsay with the question.

No idea regarding your 2nd question but as your time is limited to begin with, I'll question why you'd go once to see the gardens and then have to go back for the interior of the museum? Again you could contact them. Make sure they understand what tickets you're trying to purchase/use. I believe there's a small fee to access JUST the gardens if not visiting with a full entry ticket, and if you intended to go back for the interior, you'd want to use your combo ticket for that.
