I want to buy the discount card for seniors in oui.sncf while I'm in the states using the oui.sncf app. When I try to put in my address, there's no USA in the country menu and my address is wrong. I also get an error msg. Does anyone know how to get a card or is it not possible?

USA is Etats Unis in French. Does that help?

Buy it in France in person. If it requires delivery, they don't ship to the US.

You generally can purchase tickets without the card in hand and obtain the discount. Just make sure you have the card with you when traveling.

If you are connecting to a train from your international flight, be sure to factor in sufficient time to buy the card...lines may be long, and the self serve kiosks don’t always take American credit cards.

I purchased one two weeks ago from Gare du Nord. Just lined up at the sncf info centre at the station. They required (a) passport (b) photo to put on train pass - I had left over passport photos (c) Paris address - I had an Airbnb address and (d) phone number. The whole process took about 20 mins. So far it has saved me about 100 euros on trips to regional France, Luxembourg and Belgium so it’s been worth it and it’s good for a calendar year.
