I have searched the site and cannot find out how to post a trip report, other than just staring a topic on the forum. How does one go about posting a trip report? Thank you.

Just start a topic in this sub-forum:
https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/trip-reports
Each post is restricted in length so I find it easier to write my TRs out in WORD or googledocs first then cut and paste and post your report serially.
If people are looking at the All Topics view of the forum the Trip Reports come up in line chronologically with all the other posts.

What Pam said. 😊 Also, just make sure you follow the rules about no links. Some people have linked to their blogs so they don't have to rewrite everything for the trip report, but that is not allowed.
**Trip Report content should be directly viewable in this forum. Links to any portion of your report outside the forum will be removed.
