Our cruise ship is stopping in Brest and I would like to visit the National Botanical Reserve. Does anyone know how far it is from the cruise port and if cabs are available to get there? Also, I have some mobility limitations and am wondering how flat the land is in the reserve. If it is flat I can manage the walking. I love beautiful gardens and this looks like one.

Their web site mentions local buses from the train station, with a connection. Since the port area is large and I don't know where you'll dock, etc., it would probably be easier to take a taxi. Sorry, I'm not familiar with the city or the garden.
