We are planning on going to Bordeaux from Breda, Holland on Thursday, October 4th. The closest airport to Breda is Eindhoven. It doesn't look like we can fly directly from Eindhoven to Bordeaux. I am wondering if anyone knows the quickest and easiest way to get there, whether by plane or train. If by train, would the tickets be cheaper if purchased ahead of time, and how long before would tickets for that date go on sale?
After a few days in Bordeaux, we need to get to Brussels for our flight home. My thought was to take the train to Paris, stay for a couple of days, and then take the train to Brussels and stay the night in a hotel near to the airport. Does this seem like a reasonable plan and can someone suggest a hotel for that purpose? Thanks so much.
