How do I decide which France tour to take? I have been to Paris several times and love it. I have been to the Normandy beach sites.
We took two France tours this past year: Paris and the Heart of France, and Best of Eastern France. Sounds like you've covered several of the places on the HOF tour. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Eastern France tour. We had a wonderful time. This is one of the few tours that I would be delighted to take again.

I’ve taken the Eastern France tour (formerly known as Villages And Vineyards of Easter France) and was one of the top 3 of my 14 Rick Steves Tours. It was never boring. Whether going to the battlefields of WW I in Verdun, the Cathedral in Reims, the vineyards of Alsace and Burgundy, taking a gondola to the top of the Aiguille du Midi, the boat ride on the lake at the beautiful town of Annecy, or visiting the Roman theatre, you WON’T be bored.
If you have a few days at the end of trip, stay in Marseille, tour the city, take a boat from Vieux Port around Chateau d’If and see the calanques.
Since you have been to Paris and Normandy, it looks like you are deciding between the Loire/South France and the Eastern France tours. This is very much an over-simplification, but does seeing beautiful chateaux or being in the French Alps appeal more to you? Both have cathedrals, villages and history.
With either choice, I would definitely recommend spending an extra three nights at Nice (one you stay there already; the other you would take the train there). There’s so much to do in the French Riviera, and the easy train & bus options are inexpensive to go to nearby sites. I stayed at Nice last September for 5 nights during a 3-week trip in France and could have spent more time there.
I would agree with Jean if you choose to take the Loire/South of France Tour to spend extra time in Nice. A few of us took the train to Monaco for a half day and enjoyed seeing the changing of the guard, and the lovely scenery. We also spent 4 nights in Paris prior to the tour. As previously mentioned if you enjoy an active tour, chateau's, history, beautiful landscapes, great food, wine, architecture you will love this tour. It was one of our favorite RS Tours.
We did Loire Valley to the South of France in May last year. Looooved it. Here are my trip reports if you think they'll be helpful.
