Our reservation is for 11:52. How early should I be there?

11:51? I keed. It's a small station. 20-30 minutes? Will you have your ticket? IIRC the tickets are mostly self serve but you can scroll down for languages. We learned the hard way. LOL
Grab a beverage/bite & wander to your track. There are about 4 tracks & an underground passageway to get to the correct tracks. Nothing at all like Gare du Nord or other large stations. Strasbourg was pretty easy to navigate as well.

The train will leave at 11:52. I am usually there 15-20 minutes before to make sure I find the right track location. Sometimes earlier if I want to grab a sandwich or something for the trip.

The station is small so 15 minutes early should be plenty of time. Our hotel was around the corner from the station and when we got to the station we bought our tickets to Strasbourg from the manned booth. It was easy and took no time at all.

About 10 minutes before departure should be enough. Earlier and all you will do is stand around staring at screens...
