How early is too early for testing?

We just took our COVID test this morning (all negative) for our flight that leaves tomorrow at 6 PM. We are well within the 48 hours before departure. However, when trying to upload to Verifly it says we’re too early because it can only look at individual segments of the flight and we have a connection at Heathrow so we are too early for that segment (British Airways says to only enter info for the final segment). Now I’m worried that when I go to upload our results tomorrow morning, it’s going to say they were taken too early even though we are within the window of our first departure. Anyone else have experience with this?

Hi..just returned from Paris on the 17th..1030 flight..took our covid test on the 16th at 8am..no issue with the time..it is one day before regardless of your departing flight from Cdg..so we were told by pharmacy and Delta. Very easy..results in 20 minutes..and then we went about our day. I realize things are changing rapidly..but that is my report. Enjoy your time in Paris!

Hi Linda,

This is actually going the other way. Our departure from Seattle to LHR is within the 48 hours, but our departure from Heathrow to CDG is not. I’m curious if we have to have our test within 48 hours of departure from LHR to CDG.

The testing requirement is that you are tested within 48 hours of departure. Your departure is from SEA.

Make sure you remain in transit going through LHR.
