How do we know if a connecting flight through London creates an issue?

We are flying from Seattle to CDG with a connection through Heathrow. From what I can tell we will land in Terminal 5 and leave from Terminal 5. Does anyone know how to tell if this will create an issue with the new requirements for France? The layover is only a couple of hours.

That’s good if it’s not an issue for arriving between n France. For our situation going to Italy this fall, simply because our flight to Bologna was coming from Heathrow, regardless of whether we’d left our terminal from Denver, or how long we’d been at the airport, simply because our flight was coming from Britain, we were going to be subject to a mandatory 5 day quarantine once we reached Italy. We weren’t going to be refused entry, but the quarantine was going to be a deal breaker. We switched airlines and wert to Italy by way of Dallas, not London.

We just did this yesterday... and no problems. We did complete a scaled-down version of the PLF form, used VeriFly through BA, and had no issues. We went AMS - LHR - ATL. Like you will, we arrived and departed from T5 (even though we were bussed to a plane parked on the tarmac near T3).

Keep yourself updated with requirements for Covid via Sherpa, their website is always current. You will put in the country of your passport, where you depart from, where you trasit thru and your final destination and the website will tell you what is required in both directions. For example we departed the USA to Spain and tranisted thru Hearthrow. At that time Spain required proof of vacanation and London required that and a Covid test for transit. On the way home from Spain to USA a covid test was required. Along with forms, lots of forms. So QR codes for USA, Spain, and the UK. Lots of paperwork but well worth it. The situation is fluid and Sherpa was super helpful. Carry a printed copy of everything or be one of the people fumbling with their phones holding up the line and making the airport workers "postal". Enjoy your trip. J
Healthrow is huge and I don't think 6 hours is too much time to change planes, being in one terminal is better so I would say 3 hours. If your plane is on time, and your sitting near the front, two hours might work, if your on American expect to be two hours late and you won't be disapointed.
