Is there a connection from CDG to Reims, via the high speed train? or do I have to get to a larger train station?
Yes, there are high speed trains from CDG to Reims. Actually, the high speed trains from CDG go to Reims Champagne-Ardenne which is 8 kilometers outside of Reims and there is a shuttle that connects the two stations. If the trains from CDG do not work with your schedule, you can catch TGVs from Paris directly to Reims or Reims Champagne-Ardenne.
Your post says the Eastern Europe tour - just to be sure...you mean the Eastern France tour, right?
Hi tba, we took the Eastern France tour last May and enjoyed it very much. Nice variety of sites and locations, beautiful vineyards, and a friendly group of people. The train from Paris to Reims is easy. The Rick Steves team will send you an e-mail or letter with the first and last hotels and detailed directions on how to get there. Hope you have a great time!
I just booked this route for September at 18 euros pp. The day I am traveling there are 5 trains from CDG to Reims.
