I see that car rentals in Colmar are at 47 Route De Strasbourg, which is about 5 miles north of Petit Venis. Google seems to indicate there is no public transportation option. Does anyone know if there is a tram, subway, bus, or Uber option?

There is a car rental location at the Colmar train station. Its an Avis.

If you do have to use the distant car rental location, you could always use a Taxi. I use Taxis routinely on every trip.

The 47 Route de Strasbourg location appears from Google Maps to be at Colmar's small airport. You can take a bus route 7 (around every 20-30 minutes) from central Colmar to the "Statue de la Liberte" stop.
