Hi All,
Have any of you visited D'Orsay and the Louvre in early November? If so, were wait times long and crowds large? Many thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

Can’t directly discuss experiences at that time of year but just to advise a special daVinci exhibit opens in October 2019 at the Louvre. Crowds will be substantial.
A big Dégas is scheduled at the Orsay for your visit time. Both museums are always crowded although some visit times might be less crowded than others.. French school holidays are in effect the first week of Nov.
These days and especially in November with the Leonard exhibit you should have timed tickets to the Louvre well in advance. When we had timed entry for the Vermeer exhibit, we still waited nearly 90 minutes to get into the exhibit.
Never approach the Orsay without a ticket as with one you can use a different door which in November probably won't even have a line. Easy to acquire on line and they are good for a couple of months.
