Will have a brief stay in Toulouse, prefer not driving too far from the airport but would like to see some of the city. Please offer any suggestions for hotels (with fee parking) and a bit of sightseeing.

Last fall we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Toulouse Airport. It was a breeze to get to the airport for an early morning flight. Free gated parking. Returned our car early and got the hotel shuttle back from the airport. Not really near anything but with a car we found good food and spent a day in Toulouse. Reasonably nice hotel. We did do some walking in the area of the hotel. Blagnac isn't much...
