Hotels near Gare St Lazare

Hi
Looking for moderate to budget hotel near Gare St Lazare- or metro stop close to line that goes to Gare St Lazare. Need to minimize walking, so hotel should also have an elevator and also air con. Going this July. Thanks so much

What does moderate to budget mean to you in numbers? Time of year can really affect price. Note that July is extremely busy and consequently pricey in Paris. There is the very, very good Hotel Wilson Opera which is a 2-minute walk to the station. Literally across the street from one side of the station is Hotel Phileas but if I recall correctly, you need to climb a flight of stairs to get to the reception and the elevator.. Metro lines 3, 12, 13, and 14 go to the station so you could stay in many areas of Paris and be ona direct line to the station. Is there a particular neighborhood that you like? For example the Best Western Aramis is a good hotel located a. 1-minute walk from the Saint Placide stop on line 12 in the very popular 6th arrondissement.

We recently stayed (3 weeks ago) at the Hotel Wilson Opera which is 8 minute walk to Gare St Lazare. It had an elevator but can’t recall if it had AC. Not needed when we were there. Super nice employees and nice rooms. Stayed here as we were taking train from St Lazare to Bayeux. Check out their website for more details

Just curious, what route were you taking to the train station to make it take 8 minutes? The Hotel Wilson Opera is less than 200 meters from the Rue de Rome entrance of Gare St-Lazare.

It took my wife and I about 8 minutes to walk from Hotel Wilson Opera through the mall to the platform from where the Normandy trains depart.
