Hotels in the 7th arrond. in May

I will be travelling to Paris in May with my two adult children (19 yrs old). Looking for suggestions for hotels/suites/apartments for 4 nights in the 7th arrondissement. Any suggestions? Looking for good location, clean and safe. THX!

Have you tried www.Booking.com? You can filter for the neighborhood and all of your particulars to at least get a list which you can then further explore on the hotel/apartment websites if need be.

I would look into an apartment rental. We stayed in the 7th at a one bedroom on Rapp Avenue. It was a perfect location, close to the river, restaurants, Eiffel tower, and just around the corner from a grocery store, bakery, wine store and a deli. We ate our breakfast in the apartment, and we were off for the day. We rented thru Paris Perfect, and they were wonderful to work with. They have many apartments in the 7th.

Budget? Two rooms or one quad room? Neighborhood of the 7th? As my daughter would say, we need the deets to make good suggestions. Anyway without the budget and other deets, I toss into the pot of suggestions Hotel de Londres Eiffel (love that place), Hotel de Varenne (excellent place), Hotel le Narcisse Blanc (haven’t stayed at this one but know people who have and loved it), and Academie Hotel Saint Germain (another one that people I know rave about). Clean and safe are givens in the 7th.

I am guessing that someone will pop in here to ask why you want to stay in the 7th. I’ll just point out that the area of the 7th near Rue du Bac is very different from the area near Avenue Saxe or near the Eiffel Tower or Rue Cler.

So, why stay in the 7th? Just the idea of being able to see the Eiffel Tower at night is very compelling to me. I'm also looking in the Latin Quarter (6th) and would take any suggestions on that area, as well.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.

Ah, yes, the deets. I'm travelling with my two adult children (19 yrs old). 3 beds preferred. Budget...up to about 300 euros per night.

I stayed at the hotel Londres Eiffel last year and it was great. Charming decor, friendly staff, and short walking distance to the Eiffel Tower.
It is also in the midst of several excellent restaurants, a grocery store, bakery, and more, and it's right on the #69 bus route which is great for traveling across town.

You can't be guaranteed of seeing the Eiffel Tower from your room just because you are in the 7th and otherwise being close to it not a big deal because you can see all the time as you make your way around Paris and the western part of the 7th is not really close to anything people really want to see except for the Eiffel Tower. I adore the Hotel de Londres Eiffel (my sister and husband claim that Cedric, the front desk guy, is my favorite person in Paris and Samba, the dog, is adorable) and it has ET view rooms (I and two relatives stayed in 3 of them in 2017). I think their triple rooms are in the part of the hotel that does not have an ET view. Do you really want to share a room with two 19-year-olds? I ask because I cannot share a room with my 21-year-old and have not been able to since she was about 13. With your budget, I'd go for two rooms but then again my 21-year-old is very messy and I am very neat and not very good at biting my tongue when I see her mess. Anyway, enough about my failings as a parent, take a look at Hotel Excelsior Latin, Hotel Diana, Hotel Dauphine Saint Germain, and Hotel Le M Saint Germain to name a few where I think you could get two rooms or a triple, be in excellent areas if you are not tied to the 7th, and still be under budget.

On booking.com, search for “Eiffel Tower Family -ac -WiFi”. I haven’t stayed there, but it sounds like what you’re looking for. Close to metro and RER stops, view of the tower from the living room. A few blocks from Rue Cler. We booked it for later this year.
