Hotels in St Paul de Vence or Vence

Too much info on above. Looking for hotel within old city for family of 5, for a week. Any strong recommendations?

mo41,
I always begin with Booking.com. Put in your filters (on the left of the page), as many as you can, and that should narrow things down. When you have a few options, check out the website for the property, and come back here to see if anyone has opinions about some of your options. Your question is a bit broad. Do you have any further details (e.g., connecting rooms, kitchen facilities, ages of people, need for elevator, etc.)?

Best of luck.

A week is a long time in St. Paul de Vence. Will you have a car? What time of year?. You might consider just outside, with the le Mas de Pierre, le Hameau, or Hôtel Les Messugues (at various price points and facilities), Several others are like the first, with pools and large gardens. In town, there is le Saint Paul and La Colombe d'Or (I've only eaten there).

Thanks Gooster, second week in May, 5 adults with car, plan to visit surrounding towns, Nice, Eze, walk in Maritime Alps, eat, hang out, may play a round of golf if we're near a course. So easy to get there with direct Nice flight from NY. Someone at the SP Office of Tourism recommended Hameau and Les Remparts de Vence, a b and b inside the walls. Having some issues navigating the web sites (unclear room availabilities and prices), I'll try calling today.

You'll find some golf courses to the west, towards Mougins. I think you'll find several of the choices on booking engines like booking.com.

With a car, all the backcountry is available to you. I do recommend the trip beyond St. Paul de Vence to Vence and then on to Tourettes Sur Loup and Gourdon. There are also trails and walks throughout the area (even St. Paul and Vence are connected by a footpath).
