Hotels in Le Marais, Paris recommendations

Well, we were in France last September and fell in love. We are taking our family this time in 2025 and would like to stay in the Marais area. We stayed in Montmartre last time, just a bit too far. I loved walking around the Marais district. We will be 3 couples, 3 separate rooms. I know their area is a bit more pricey and I’ve just started my hotel research.

I’d like to see where you all have stayed. I’m thinking $400 a night per room. Is that too low, enough?

Would it be better to stay in an arrondisement next to it and be able to walk there easily?

We have booked a family room at the Hotel Jeanne D’Arc Le Marais. It gets good reviews online, but we haven’t stayed yet so I can’t vouch for it personally. I’d love feedback though if any other posters have stayed there!!

You might want to look at Apartments du Louvre's Marais location. I recently stayed in their St Honoré location and a studio apartment was well under 400 Euros a night, and we had the benefit of a small kitchen and washing machine. They were recommended by other forum members. Reception is only open from 10 to 6.
