Hotels at or near CDG Airport

Can you recommend a hotel near the CDG airport?

I would like to book one then night before our departure.

Thanks!

I have stayed in the Sheraton Hotel inside of Terminal 2 at CDG, it's a nice hotel, very clean and the windows are sound proofed so you don't hear planes coming and going. It's easy to walk out of the hotel and your within steps of the ticket counters and entrance to the security lines.

I concur regarding the Sheraton, stayed there our final night in 2016, was blown away by the sound proofing, never experienced such a quiet hotel. Even a bit eerie how quiet things were.

We’re staying there overnight again in April.

You ask about hotels "near" the airport, but you should stay inside the CDG terminal complex. We have done the "near" thing once, and it is a hassle and not worth the savings. Stay in the terminal, you will be glad you did so for the convenience.

We have twice stayed at the Novotel CDG Terminal hotel, highly recommend it. They also have a very nice restaurant and serve an excellent breakfast buffet.

We have used the Novotel at the RER station at the airport and liked it -- comfortable, comparatively inexpensive with decent breakfast buffet.

I've stayed at the Hilton twice, it's just fine. Make sure you sign up for Hilton Gold or whatever they're calling it these days, you might get it for free from a credit card. You'll get a better room. It's a large American style business hotel, 8 stories I believe with a large interior atrium. Has a business center and a lounge for the aforementioned Gold members to eat and drink for free each night. 1 minute walk to the CDGVAL train. Only possible hitch, they don't seem to start serving breakfast until 6 AM.

Stayed in the Ibis at Roissypôle in November. Nothing fancy but totally adequate, and as far as I could tell, the cheapest option actually inside the airport. I agree with others that you definitely want to be in the airport - shuttles are not as common in France as in the US.

If you have a rental car and would rather not stay at the airport I’d recommend staying somewhere in Senlis. It’s a small, historic, pretty town with nice restaurants, shops and accommodations.

Has anyone stayed at one of the new Marriott properties at CDG (Courtyard, Moxy or Residence Inn)? They all say they have an easy connection to the terminals via the CDGVAL but I'd like to confirm that's true. They're a lot less expensive than the Sheraton. Thanks.
