Hi--I'm planning a trip to LaRochelle, Bordeaux, and Bayonne or Biarritz in mid-spring, and I'm looking for lodging recommendations. I'll be solo, and I won't have a car. Merci beaucoup!

In Bayonne, the Ibis Styles Centre Gare (ex-Hotel Loustau) is pretty good on the lower end. Super convenient location, and some room overlook the Adour river.
Biarritz is quiet at night for the most part, and less well-connected for day trips, so I'd recommend staying in Bayonne.
In Bordeaux, I enjoyed a stay at the Grand Hotel Français in late 2023. The rooms were a tad small, but large enough for 1, and super comfy.
