Hotel within walking distance of Gare de Lyon

We are still trying to decide between flying to CDG from Milan or take a train. If we take the train, we arrive at Gare de Lyon at 10:30pm. We need to find a hotel (for a family of 4) within walking distance of the train station. We’ll then head to CDG the next morning for our flight back to Canada.

Any hotel recommendations $150 give or take you’d recommend around the train station?

There is a Novotel right across the street. Might be more than your budget, but not by much. Of course that depends on what is going on in town at that time.

We stayed several nights at this hotel, a few blocks north of the station, clean and simple. Perfectly fine for one night. I haven't checked current rates but it should be close to your price range. You'll probably need two rooms. They got us an early morning taxi to CDG. While there are other ways to reach the airport, with four people and luggage a taxi would seem the best value.

I stayed at an Ibis that is walking distance from Gare de Lyon. When I went to check in, I found out there are two Ibis within walking distance of Gare de Lyon and I went to the wrong one first. I paid $100 per night for a room, which isn't bad for Paris (but the most expensive lodging of my trip). The hotels are perfectly comfortable but more modern than "Parisian" and geared for business travelers.

Thank you all for the information, we’re still deciding between flying or the train from Milan to Paris. There’s an easy jet flight(last one of the evening) that is a direct flight from Milan to CDG and would work out to about $120cdn more than if we took the direct train.
If we flew it would give us a bit more time to see Milan as we would fly out around 9pm, as the train leave at 2:40 in the afternoon.

We then spend the last night either at a hotel close to CDG or Gare de Lyon and fly back to Canada the following afternoon.
