My husband and I plan to stay in either the 6th or 7th Arrondissement. Has anybody stayed at this hotel? If so, would you recommend and please give reasons.
Another hotel we are considering in area is Hotel de Fleur. Trying to decide which one to choose.
We want comfortable beds (plan to opt for the two twins) and quiet for sleeping. Would appreciate your input.

If this is the Hotel St Germain (no e at the end) on rue du Bac, the location is excellent. There are dozens of hotels on the Left Bank using St Germain in their titles so name accuracy is important.
The hotel is just west of the tourist hordes of St Germain des Prés and located in some of the most expensive real estate in Paris. Plenty of upscale shopping, numerous restaurants nearby, I particularly like les Climats, and most of the major tourist destinations are very walkable in a relatively short period of time.

It came up on my Delta Airlines feed yesterday, so we looked it up. One of the reviews said the street side was noisy and they needed to install triple-pane windows; be sure you ask for a room in the back. I can’t recommend or not recommend.
