Traveling to France with a friend in September. He's never been to Normandy. We are planning to stay 4 nights, and looking for a decent hotel or B&B with either 2 beds or 2 single rooms (I prefer the latter). Checked the website for the Churchill Hotel, and was not impressed. Any suggestions?

If you haven't already, give a solid look at Booking.com. You can filter for two beds, price, etc. You don't have to book through them (although I have been happy with them whenever I have used them), but there are usually lots of pictures of the places, and the reviews are all from people who have stayed there. I filter the reviews by most recent first. You can contact the hotel or B&B directly if you want.

We stayed in an Airbnb, (not suited for your requirements) but originally wanted to stay at Le Petit Matin bnb, but they were sold out. Also, check Hotel Reine Matildhe and Hotel Villa Laura or Grand Hotel Luxembourg. All centrally located, which is key. If you'll have a car, make sure you have parking. Parking is difficult to come by. You want to be able to park and get everywhere in town on foot, but be able to go off and explore outside the city center when you want to drive.
