Hotel recommendations to access Roland Garros via Public Transportation

Plan to spend 2 days at the French Open in May and looking for the best area to stay in Paris with easy access to Roland Garros. Hotel recommendations appreciated.

We stayed at a small hotel in the 16th and walked to Roland Garros when we were there in 2016. It was easier than dealing with crowded transport. I will have to dig a bit to find the name of the hotel.

Here you go, HotelHome Paris 16:

It is all apartments. We had a small one, called a junior suite. The kitchen was tiny, but adequate for making our breakfast, which was all we needed. We ate lunch at the tennis grounds and went out to restaurants for dinner.

Hôtel Odéon Saint Germain, located at the Odeon stop on metro line 10, is excellent and in an excellent location for those times when you are not watching tennis. If you are not inclined to take mass transit to the stadium, there is also the Molitor, which is right across from the stadium and has the best hotel pool, IMO, in Paris. What is your budget? Metro line 10 goes through a number of very good areas so you could look for hotels near any stop between La Motte Picquet-Grenelle and Jussieu depending on how long a train ride you want to take to get to the stadium: https://www.cybevasion.fr/hotels-paris-metro-lpmetro-ligne25.html.

Hotel Molitor sounds intriguing but they have no rooms available from 23 May through the dates of the French Open (at least all that I checked). Not surprising; I imagine many of the competitors stay there.
