Hotel Recommendations in the Saint Germain Neighborhood

I'm traveling with my adult son (29) next March to London and Paris. We're staying in Paris 6 nights and I'm looking for hotel recommendations in the Saint Germain neighborhood. I'm thinking of two classic/basic rooms with a connecting door, if available and reasonably priced. I've narrowed it to three based on reviews, guidebooks, and the websites (sigh). Please let me know what you think of: Hotel Academie Saint Germain on 32 Rue des Saints-Pères, L'Abbaye 10 Rue Cassette, or La Perle 14 Rue des Canettes. Looking for anyone who's stayed at these hotels, or other hotels like it in this area.

I found a great hotel in Venice earlier this year based on recommendations from this forum. So I'm looking forward to your thoughts and recommendations for Paris.

If you help us with a price range that is reasonable to you then we can be more specific! What's reasonable to one person is completely exorbitant to another! :)

I'd go with the Academie Saint Germain - it has 8 connecting rooms, and it looks like you can afford a 4 star hotel.
Good transportation options by Metro and Bus, too. And you can walk almost everywhere to see the usual sights.
