My husband and I are traveling to Paris in early November and we are looking for hotel recommendations preferably in the 6th or 7th arrondissement. I would prefer something a little modern. Any recommendations are appreciated. And if you recommend something in a different arrondissement than the 6/7, please provide that feedback and maybe reasons why? Thank you.

Have a great trip!
There are those on the forum who don't care much for the 7th but I love it. It makes a very comfortable "home" for me, lol.
I particularly like the Hotel Relais Bosquet on Rue du Champ de Mars and Hotel Muguet on Rue Chevert. Both are near the Rue Cler area which has many cafes and the street usually has it's Christmas lights up in late October.
Hotel Relais Bosquet has some Eiffel Tower view rooms and last month I just lucked out in getting one! Yes, lying in bed and watching the ET twinkle is fun! They have a pretty good breakfast if you are a breakfast eater.

Hotel Muguet has the nicest linens of any hotel I've stayed in, lol. Lovely sheets and towels. They also have a few ET view rooms (just the top of the tower).

I book directly with either hotel. Front desk staff at both are awesome and English-speaking. Housekeeping staff is lovely at both places.
