Looking for a hotel recommendation for one night near the Luxembourg Garden neighborhood.
Family of 4 (don't need a family room - 2 rooms work just fine).
Landed on this area due metro stop (for next day flight out from CDG) and a very quick trip to Musee D'Orsay

We will be there in November. We would probably not want to spend more than 300(e) per room, per night (if possible).

You know, I've never tried it, but the Hotel des Grandes Ecoles has always looked interesting to me. Its on the other side of the Pantheon from Luxembourg Gardens so perhaps farther than you are looking for. https://en.hoteldesgrandesecoles.com/
enter link description hereHotel Excelsior Latin is my suggestion. It is about a 5 minute walk from the Luxembourg RER station. It's a long walk to the Musee d'Orsay, though (about 35 minutes). I have not been there since it was renovated but it has been one of my go-to suggestions well-priced, well-located hotels. A little further up the price chain but still within your budget is the Hotel Observatoire Luxembourg which is quite close to the Luxembourg RER station and is a lovely spot.
I had looked at Hotel Diana when we were lookin near there last year. We didnt stay there, but I think others in this forum had good reviews. 8-9 minute walk from either of the RER B stops (St Michel or Luxembourg) so maybe further than you want, but thought I'd throw it out there.

Hôtel Luxembourg Parc is excellent, great location. And they have a full gym downstairs if you don't walk your feet off whilst sightseeing. they're also part of a mini chain in the area, check out the links on their site.
You'll be near SG de P and St. Sulpice, and can easily walk to the Orsay and the Rodin museums.
