Planning to stay in Amboise for 2 nights in early July with my Aunt and cousin. Looking for hotel and B&B suggestions.

I would highly recommend Belleroche B&B. It is a beautiful house - friendly owner with private car parking, gardens.
It is 15 minute walk to centre of Amboise and the rooms we stayed in last May overlooked the Loire river

Last summer we stayed at Hotel Le Clos d'Amboise and it was perfect. We could walk anywhere in the old town area; there was free parking on site, a lovely garden and pool, and a sitting area with really big dominoes that was fun. The room was roomy with a large, modern bathroom. It was our "splurge" hotel for the trip but still quite affordable.

If you don't need to stay IN the town of Amboise and have a car, we stayed in a gorgeous B & B about 20 min away. It is very close to Chenonceau. It is about as perfect as you will find and not expensive.
