Hotel near Eiffel Tour need to get to Le Perq for Viking Cruise

Hello! We are arriving early before departing on a Viking River cruise. Our hotel is near the Eiffel Tower and I am not sure how to get to the port at Le Perq any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help!

I think you mean Le Pecq. I suggest taking a taxi from Paris that your hotel can call for you or taking the train to Saint Germain en Laye and taking a cab from there. You would take the Transilien to Saint Germain en Laye from Gare St Lazare. Another option is the RER A to Vesinet-Le Pecq.

If you want to take public transportation, you can take the No 6 Metro from Bir Hakeim to Etoile, then change to the RER A direction St Germain-en-Laye and go to the end of the line. Its still a bit of a walk (1/2 mile or 10 minutes) from there to the river front where the boat will be docked. Its Le Pecq, by the way. No "r".
Otherwise, just spring for a cab if you have a lot of luggage.

I don't know the address of your hotel but, generally, without traffic, it will take about 45 minutes by car from the Eiffel Tower. Try using Google Maps and getting driving directions by entering the address of your hotel and entering Quai Maurice Berteaux, Le Pecq as your destination if you want a more precise estimate. Why do you want to take an Uber instead of a taxi?

I've only taken Lyft once, never Uber, but I had to take out my phone and use maps to tell the driver how to find the way. His GPS didn't work well. In France, and most of Europe, taxi drivers have to pass week-long complicated exams before they can drive. On the other hand, any Thomas, Richard, or Henri can be an Uber driver. I know who I'd call to get out to Le Pecq.

Thank you again for the suggestion. Taxi sounds like the way to go. My honey is a fan of Uber so he takes it everywhere but it sounds from your expertise that I should call a taxi instead. Thank you again! Much appreciated!
