Hotel in the 9th if departing Gare Montparnasse next morning?

I'm guessing yes, no problem, but wanted to run it by the community.

Arriving CDG on a Friday morning, spending one night in Paris before departing for the Loire at 10am from Gare Montparnasse.

We like the 9th eme, close to the few things we want to do in our short time, our hotel of choice is there. We will stay within 2 block of the St. Georges Metro Station, line 12, goes direct to Gare Montparnasse.

Are we going to feel crunched for time in the morning? If we walk out the door at 8:30am will we make our train?

Thanks!

I'd leave at 8 but I'm like that. Your should be fine leaving at 8:30. The trip should take about 30 minutes. I get stressed out when I am rushing to catch trains and airplanes so I add extra time.

There's no reason not to do this. Plenty of Parisians get to Gare de Montparnasse from all over the city - and you have the advantage of having a direct shot on the 12. You like your spot in the 9th, I say go for it.

Absolutely no problem, and 8.30 is the perfect time to leave. Saturday morning will be quiet on the metro. Just be aware that the Montparnasse stop on line 12 is a 10-minute walk from the train platforms at Gare Montparnasse.
