Hotel in Paris for a group of 12: 2 couples, +7 single women and 3 single men

Our group has an odd number of men and women: we need a Paris hotel with 2 twin rooms for men and 2 triple rooms to accommodate the ladies so we can stay under budget. (prefer not to have sofa beds but instead 3 singles beds)
Plus to double rooms for the couples
6 total rooms
( if we can't find this configuration. we will need 2 more rooms which really raises the price)
May 17-23, 2026 (6 nights)
Breakfast included (most are at extra cost)

Budget around $15,000 total, so $2500/night

We have been looking for a good month. We thought we had it reserved within budget but when we went to lock it in they increrased it by $3000.--not ideal.
We are also communicating with Des Nations St. Germaine--haven't heard back

Citadines was recommended but came out above budget with breakfast added.

Thank you!

Don’t add breakfast. Hotels usually charge at least €15. You can walk down the street and get a French breakfast for about €5. If you book a Citadines, they have kitchenettes, so you could buy some oj, yogurt and grab some croissants.

OP, I responded to what I think was a earlier post by you, but it seems to have
disappeared. If you rewrote it, that is great, but in case it was swallowed by the
vast vacuum of the internet....

1) If you are worried about finding accommodations, are waiting for an email back
from the hotel, and haven't called them, well.....

2) Consider trying to book at hotels near each other. There are lots of hotels
in Paris.

3) Look at apartments rented by agencies. Often they have multiple units in the
same building. You probably need more than 1 unit, but for $2500 a night you
should have decent options. Plus you can shop at a grocery store for breakfast
and snacks (and maybe more), which will lower the overall cost.

4) Your requirements statement is still not quite clear, unless one of the boys is
rooming with one of the women.

Triple rooms are rare without a pullout couch.
This is pretty late to be looking for a group, but try the Ibis hotels. You will probably have to look in the areas further out, 13th, 14th, 15th, 18th 19th, 20th districts, or in the suburbs just over the city boundary line, Montrouge, Lilas, Pantin, etc. You need to look on a map to see the names of the areas just outside the city boundary but still on a Metro line.

Ibis hotels have doubles and doubles plus a couch. Also look for Ibis Budget hotels, the same corporation but an even less expensive model. Ibis hotels are bare bones: a hairdryer, soap and shampoo, but they fill the bill. Ibis budget are even more bare bones and their breakfasts won't cut it for teen boys. On the other hand, Ibis has the full breakfast: eggs, meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, the whole deal.

Good luck.

Hotel Yllen EIffel offers quite a variety of double, triple, and quad rooms. They aren't cheap (they used to be before they got that damned 4th star), but it's not a bad price .

Shasha, I agree with those that said not to book a hotel with breakfast. For one thing, it will be hard to find a place where it's actually included in the price, and honestly, as mentioned, you can find it cheaper just out on the street.

I was in Paris last April with my grandson and granddaughter, ages 12 and 15 (at the time), and their favorite thing to do was go out in the morning and get their breakfast at a local cafe or boulangerie. I would relax in the hotel room with my coffee while they hit the streets looking for their breakfast of the day. I think they liked the freedom as much as the food. My granddaughter was particularly enamored of the pain au chocolat, and my grandson loved the cheese croissants.

Honestly, I think it was the highlight of their day. 😂. I'll bet you anything that your young adults would love to do the same thing. They can get an incredible hot chocolate while they're out, too.

Definitely do not rule out a good location because of breakfast. Do the younger ones really eat a full breakfast? Coffee and croissant or baguette with butter and jam is cheap and good. You're in Paris!

BTW - You are a group of 14, not 12 and you have your room allotments messed up.

You need

  • 2 double rooms for the "chaperones",
  • 1 triple for the "3 single men"
  • 1 triple room for 3 of the "single women"
  • 2 twin rooms for 4 of the "single women".

If you can't find a hotel with triple rooms, consider a couple of single rooms. They are sometimes incredibly cheap and usually very small.
